North Van

My fellow Scotian, Natasha wanted to take me to see all of downtown Vancouver, so we headed up the mountain to North Van.  These pics show downtown Vancouver the point of land the UBC sits on.

Morning View

Each morning I get up, I walk directly to my east window to see if it's clear enough to see Mount Baker.  Monday morning I woke up to finally see the mountain after almost two weeks of solid fog.  Gotta love it :)

Snowshoeing at Cypress Mountain

Krista and I headed up to Cypress Mountain on January 10th.  It was pouring rain in the city and after about 20 minutes of driving we were into a winter wonderland!  The snowbanks on the drive up the mountain were over five feet high!

These photo were taken January 17th, at Cultus Lake about an hour east of Vancouver.  It was +12 deg. and sunny, so we took advantage of the heat and soaked up some vitamin D.
